We manufacture a wide range of bespoke cosmetics packaging, including custom tins, aluminium containers, cardboard boxes, tubes and gift packaging. Whether you need packaging for skincare, lip balms, beauty products or cosmetic gift sets, we can develop a solution around your product, brand and design requirements.
-
Our standard minimum order quantity for fully bespoke cosmetics packaging is 3,000 units. This includes packaging manufactured to your specific size, shape or design. If you need smaller quantities, we also offer stock packaging with lighter customisation options, which may be more suitable.
-
The cost depends on your packaging's material, dimensions, quantity, printing and finishing requirements. Because each project is different, we provide tailored quotations rather than general price estimates. Once we have your specifications, we can usually provide a comprehensive quote within 1–2 working days.
-
Producing your physical prototype typically takes 3–4 weeks after we receive your approved artwork and deposit. Once you approve the sample, mass production and delivery generally take a further 12–14 weeks. Timelines may vary depending on the complexity of your packaging.
-
Yes. We can manufacture bespoke packaging to your required dimensions, shape and design, whether you're developing a new skincare range or updating existing cosmetic packaging. Our team will review your specifications and help determine the most suitable manufacturing approach.
-
We can provide physical samples so you can check the size, fit and practicality of your packaging before committing to production. If a suitable stock sample is available, we can send it free of charge. If a new sample needs to be manufactured, a small fee may apply. For products that come into direct contact with the container, you should also conduct appropriate formulation compatibility testing.
-
Yes. We can provide existing packaging samples, subject to availability, or produce physical prototypes of your bespoke design. These allow you to review the dimensions, appearance and finish before approving mass production.
-
Yes. Our team can help you explore suitable materials, sizes, closures and design options based on your product and how it will be used. Whether you're packaging a moisturiser, lip balm, body butter or cosmetic gift set, we can discuss the practical and visual requirements of your packaging.
-
Simply contact our team using the form below with your packaging requirements. We'll review your ideas, discuss the available options and prepare a quotation based on your specifications.
-
Ideally, we'll need your preferred packaging type, dimensions, order quantity, material, printing requirements and any special finishes. If you have reference images or existing packaging you'd like to reproduce, these can also help us understand your requirements.
-
Because bespoke packaging costs vary significantly between projects, we don't provide rough estimates without reviewing the specifications. Once we have the relevant details, we can normally prepare a detailed quotation within 1–2 working days.
-
We offer free reproduction for qualifying bespoke packaging projects, including tooling and colour matching. Any applicable costs associated with your particular design or requirements will be included in your quotation so you can review the full price before proceeding.
-
Our standard MOQ for fully bespoke manufacturing is 3,000 units. However, if you're looking for smaller quantities, we offer stock cosmetics packaging that may be suitable for lighter customisation without requiring a full bespoke production run.
-
Our standard payment terms require a 30% deposit, with the remaining balance payable before shipment. If you need to discuss alternative arrangements, please contact our accounts team.
-
Our bespoke packaging quotations are valid for 14 days. If you need additional time or would like to make changes to your specifications, please contact our team for an updated quotation.
-
Once you're happy with your quotation, let us know and we'll guide you through the next steps. This typically involves finalising your artwork, producing and approving physical samples, and proceeding to full production.
-
We offer several materials for bespoke cosmetics packaging, including aluminium, tinplate and cardboard. The right material depends on your product, the type of packaging required and your preferred finish. Our team can help you explore the available options.
-
There isn't one material that's suitable for every cosmetic product. Aluminium is a popular choice for balms and solid skincare products because it's lightweight, durable and recyclable. Cardboard is often used for secondary packaging and presentation boxes. The best choice depends on your formulation, product requirements and packaging design.
-
Yes. We can develop packaging solutions for a range of beauty and skincare products, including creams, lip balms, solid cosmetics and lotions. The container material and closure will need to be selected according to your product's characteristics and compatibility requirements.
-
Our aluminium tins are commonly used for cosmetic products such as lip balms and solid skincare formulations. However, suitability depends on the ingredients and characteristics of your particular product. We recommend carrying out compatibility testing before finalising your packaging.
-
Certain packaging options may be suitable for oil-based products, but compatibility depends on the formulation, container material, internal lining and closure. We recommend checking these requirements with our team and carrying out appropriate product testing before placing a bulk order.
-
We recommend testing your finished formulation with the proposed packaging to assess factors such as material compatibility, leakage, product stability and closure performance. Our team can help you identify suitable packaging options and provide samples for evaluation.
-
Yes. We offer cosmetics packaging made from materials such as aluminium, tinplate and cardboard, which can be recycled through appropriate collection systems. Many of our metal containers can also be reused. Recycling availability will depend on the packaging's construction and local recycling facilities.
-
Yes. We can help with primary packaging, such as containers designed to hold cosmetic products, as well as secondary packaging, including custom cardboard boxes, tubes and presentation packaging. For primary packaging, suitability must be assessed against the intended formulation.
-
We can explore bespoke sizes and shapes for cosmetic containers, including tins and suitable bottle packaging formats. The available manufacturing options depend on the material, closure and structural requirements of your design.
-
Available closures depend on the packaging material and design. Options for metal tins can include screw lids, slip lids and hinged lids, while other packaging formats may support different closure systems. Our team can advise on the most appropriate options for your product.
-
Yes. We can develop packaging around your intended fill volume and dimensions. However, the final capacity should be checked using your actual product, as fill levels and usable capacity can vary depending on the formulation and container design.
-
Yes. We offer bespoke manufacturing for packaging that requires specific dimensions, shapes or structural features. Share your requirements with our team, and we'll assess the most practical manufacturing options.
-
Yes. Screw-top containers are among the packaging options we offer for skincare and beauty products. They are commonly used for balms, creams and other suitable formulations. We can discuss the available materials, sizes and customisation options for your project.
-
Not all bespoke containers are airtight or leakproof. Performance depends on the construction, closure and any lining or sealing components. If your cosmetic product requires a particular level of protection, let us know so we can assess the available options and recommend appropriate testing.
-
Yes. We can produce bespoke cardboard boxes and tubes for cosmetics and skincare products, including individual product cartons, gift packaging and branded presentation tubes. These can be customised to suit your products and branding.
-
Yes. We can produce custom inserts using materials such as cardboard or foam to help position, protect and present your cosmetic products. Inserts can be designed around individual containers or multiple products within a gift set.
-
Once we've discussed your packaging requirements and agreed on the specifications, we'll provide a cutter guide for your artwork. Your designer can position your branding and graphics within the template, which we'll review before proceeding with sampling and production.
-
Yes. Whether you have a complete design or an initial concept, our team can help you explore the materials, dimensions, construction and manufacturing options needed to bring your packaging idea to life.
-
Ideally, you'll have artwork prepared by your own designer. If you don't have one, we can put you in touch with our recommended design partners. We'll also provide the appropriate cutter guide to help ensure your artwork is prepared correctly for manufacturing.
-
A cutter guide is a technical template that shows the dimensions and layout of your packaging, including areas for cutting, folding and printing. Your designer uses it to position logos, text and artwork correctly before the design is submitted for production.
-
Yes. We can incorporate your logo, brand colours, artwork and other design elements into your bespoke cosmetics packaging. The available printing and finishing options will depend on the material and packaging format you choose.
-
Yes. Our team can arrange a digital 3D mock-up to help you visualise your packaging design before moving forward with physical samples.
-
Yes. If you already have cosmetics packaging you'd like to reproduce or adapt, share a sample, images or technical specifications with our team. We can review the existing design and discuss the available reproduction options, including any changes you'd like to make.
-
We offer a range of printing options depending on the packaging material, including CMYK and Pantone colour printing. Whether you're looking for simple branded packaging or detailed artwork, we can advise on the most suitable printing method for your design.
-
Yes. We can work with Pantone colour references to achieve consistent branding across your packaging. Where CMYK printing is used, we'll aim for the closest possible match, although some Pantone shades cannot be reproduced exactly using CMYK.
-
CMYK uses four colours—cyan, magenta, yellow and black—to reproduce full-colour designs and imagery. Pantone uses specific colour references to achieve greater consistency for individual brand colours. The right method depends on your artwork, material and printing requirements.
-
Direct printing is available for certain packaging materials and formats, including bespoke metal tins. For other containers, the available decoration methods will depend on the material, shape and manufacturing process. Our team can advise on the suitable options for your project.
-
Yes. Embossing creates a raised design, while debossing creates an indented effect. Both can be used to add texture and detail to suitable bespoke packaging, depending on the material and design.
-
Standard embossing creates a raised design using a shaped tool. 3D embossing allows for a more pronounced, sculpted effect with greater depth and detail. The available options depend on your artwork and packaging material.
-
Yes. Depending on your packaging material and design, available finishes can include matt or gloss lacquers, metallic effects and other decorative treatments. We'll help you select an appropriate finish for your brand and packaging requirements.
-
Printing on the inside and outside may be possible for certain bespoke packaging formats. Availability depends on the material, construction and printing process, so we recommend discussing this requirement with our team during the quotation stage.
-
Yes. If we have a suitable existing sample available, we can provide it free of charge. If your design requires a newly manufactured sample, a small fee may apply. Our team will explain the options before proceeding.
-
Yes. For fully bespoke projects, we normally produce physical proof samples for you to review and approve before mass production begins. This gives you the opportunity to check the packaging's appearance, dimensions and finish.
-
Yes. Physical samples allow you to assess how your product fits and functions within the packaging. For cosmetics that directly contact the container, we also recommend appropriate compatibility, stability and leakage testing before approving production.
-
If you're not satisfied with your physical proof, you can request changes before approving mass production. Depending on the adjustments required, a revised sample may need to be produced, which could affect the project timeline and cost.
-
Physical prototypes typically take 3–4 weeks to manufacture after we receive your artwork and deposit. More complex designs or additional revisions may require extra time.
-
The full bespoke process generally involves 3–4 weeks for physical sampling, followed by approximately 12–14 weeks for mass production and delivery after sample approval. The final schedule will depend on your packaging requirements and approval process.
-
If you're planning a new cosmetics or skincare launch, let us know your target date as early as possible. We'll review your requirements and advise on a realistic production and delivery schedule. Bespoke manufacturing lead times should be considered when planning your launch.
-
Yes. Our standard quotations include delivery unless an alternative arrangement has been requested or specified.
-
Yes. Although we normally provide delivered pricing, we can discuss alternative shipping arrangements, including FOB or CIF quotations, if you'd prefer to organise your own logistics.
-
We can usually accommodate specific packing quantities or configurations, provided they're practical and suitable for shipping. If you have preferences for carton quantities or how your packaging is packed, please let us know when requesting your quotation.
-
This depends on the shipping method. Less than Container Load (LCL) shipments are typically palletised by our shipping partner, while Full Container Load (FCL) shipments are not normally palletised as standard to make better use of container space. Our team can confirm the arrangements for your order.
