    • Soda-lime glass accounts for approximately 90% of all glass manufactured worldwide. It is used for products including wine bottles, glass jars, windowpanes and candle vessels.

      Made from approximately 70% sand, 15% soda and 10% lime, it can be recycled indefinitely without losing its quality. It also offers excellent transparency, allowing the colour of the wax and the glow of the flame to remain visible. It will not react with fragrance oils, essential oils or different types of wax.

    • The glass products are protected using honeycomb padding and triple-wall cartons, providing additional protection during transit. The packaging is also plastic-free.

      If any of your glass products arrive broken or damaged, we will provide an immediate replacement or refund, whichever you prefer.

    • These glass jars have successfully passed ASTM C149 (Standard Test Method for Thermal Shock Resistance of Glass Containers), a recognised test that evaluates the resistance of commercial glass containers to sudden temperature changes. This testing is commonly used to assess the suitability of glass containers for candle applications.

      During the test, 48 samples were immersed in water at 63°C for five minutes and then transferred to water at 21°C for 30 seconds. This represents a temperature differential of 42°C. None of the samples were damaged during the test.

      ASTM C149 provides a method for evaluating the relative resistance of commercial glass containers to sudden changes in temperature. The result provides supporting evidence of the thermal-shock resistance of the tested glass containers under the stated laboratory conditions.
