We produce 2–3 physical samples of your custom printed tins or boxes so you can physically test the suitability and preview your artwork before committing to a full mass production run.

Because our custom metal packaging and cardboard solutions are tailored specifically to your exact requirements, prices vary significantly based on printing, embossing, closure types, and fluctuating material costs. To ensure complete transparency and accuracy, we do not provide rough estimates. However, once we have your full details, we will provide a comprehensive quotation within 1-2 working days.

Our bespoke manufacturing process is split into two phases to guarantee quality:

Prototyping: Once we have your artwork and deposit, producing your physical prototype samples takes 3-4 weeks.

Mass Production: After you officially approve your physical samples, final mass production and delivery typically take 12-14 weeks.

While we offer light customisation on our stock products with very low minimum order quantities, fully bespoke manufacturing requires a larger run. The minimum order quantity for our custom tin packaging and bespoke cardboard packaging is 3,000 pieces. Please note that any structural changes, such as altering the size, shape, or form of a stock tin, classify as a fully custom project and will require this 3,000-unit minimum. We can achieve almost any structural design you envision.

We have been producing premium metal packaging and bespoke tins for over 25 years.

Your bespoke packaging quotation is valid for 14 days.

Normally, comprehensive bespoke quotations take 1-2 working days.

If you are happy with the quotation we have provided, just let us know and we will take care of everything. We will arrange for physical samples of your specific design to be produced so you can check the overall look before committing to a mass order. Once you're ready to proceed, we will keep you fully updated throughout the entire production process.

Whether your order is palletised depends on how your goods are being shipped:

• FCL (Full Container Load): Orders are not palletised as standard. This allows us to make the best use of the available container space, helping to keep shipping as cost-effective and efficient as possible.
• LCL (Less than Container Load): Your goods will be palletised by our shipping partner once they have been safely unloaded from the main container, ready for the next stage of delivery.

If you’re unsure whether your order will be shipped as FCL or LCL, our team will be happy to confirm this for you.

As standard, we quote your bespoke tins packed with the lids on. However, if you would prefer them packed with the lids off, we can absolutely accommodate that. Just let our team know when requesting your quotation.

We can usually adjust the packing quantities to suit your preferences, provided the inner and outer carton sizes remain practical. Packs that are too large can become difficult to handle, while packs that are too small may not be cost-effective. We will do our utmost to accommodate your requirements.

We normally provide delivered pricing as standard. However, if you prefer to arrange your own shipping, we can supply an FOB (Free On Board) quotation, where we cover costs up to the point goods are loaded onto the vessel. Alternatively, we can offer a CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) quotation to the destination port of your choice.

Yes, all quotations as standard (unless otherwise specified by you) will always include delivery.

If you are not entirely satisfied with the physical proof samples, you can choose not to go ahead or request new proofs with any changes you would like to make. Ultimately, we want to ensure you are completely confident in your bespoke tins before full production begins.

We send physical samples to you (subject to availability) so you can visualize the shape and size and physically test the suitability of the packaging with your product before committing to a full run.

Yes, just ask a member of our team who would be delighted to put together a 3D digital mock-up of your custom tin cans or boxes for you.

A cutter guide is a technical 2D vector template used in the custom packaging design process. It shows manufacturers exactly where to cut, bend, and fold the material to create the final 3D container. It ensures that all custom artwork, branding, and logos are positioned correctly and that the finished custom tin packaging or box is produced to the accurate size and shape.

Yes, you can print on a welded side-seam tin; however, please be aware that there will be an approximate 1 cm unprinted gap where the tinplate has been welded. For this reason, the most popular alternative is to apply labels to the body of a welded side-seam tin.

Yes, you can print on a seamless tin; however, if you are printing on the body of the tin, we recommend choosing a single solid colour rather than a detailed print. This is because the tinplate is printed before it is formed, and during the bending process required to create the seamless shape, detailed artwork can become distorted. For the best finish, we suggest using one colour on the body and applying your full artwork to the lid instead. (Alternatively, you can opt for a glued-seam tin to achieve an all-over print while avoiding leakages).

A seamless tin is commonly used for candles because it has no side seam, which greatly reduces the risk of wax leaking. The smooth, joint-free body makes it a reliable and popular choice for candle makers. Please note there are height limitations with a seamless tin, as the maximum height is limited due to the ability to draw the metal without tearing it.

Our bespoke tins are high-quality novelty tins; they are not vacuum-sealed or fully airtight like traditional food cans. However, tin packaging is incredibly popular for storing dry foods because it is durable, opaque, and helps keep contents fresh by protecting them from light, moisture, and contamination.

Typically, CMYK can successfully match around 85% of Pantone colours.
